The venue
Our annual Midsummer Charity Ball Coventry is coming up on 22nd June 2019. This year we will be holding it at Coventry Rugby Club to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and the timely support of Circles Network as one of the Rugby Clubs two charities of the year.
The venue is in the centre of Coventry. With Coventry preparing for the recently awarded City of Culture 2021 status, It is the perfect place to be because hotels close by offer great rates to stay over, and there is so much in this vibrant city to look at on a Sunday stroll the following day.
About the Ball
The Midsummer Ball is designed to bring people together to socialise and fund raise for projects local to Coventry and Rugby. Circles Network has a number of community based projects that support disabled and disadvantaged children, adults and families. Our work is friendly, inclusive, supportive and empowering.
Our aims are to ensure that people don't struggle with isolation, loneliness and victimisation and instead are linked to the people who welcome and encourage their participation.
We offer a positive approach and 'can do' attitude, coupled with practical, non- judgemental individualised support, in turn helping people to get out of the house and meet others, have things to look forward to and make progress with goals and achievements that improve their everyday lives.
We know that our work makes a positive difference every day. With help from fundraising efforts we can increase the impact we make and support more people.
Held annually for the last few years, Circles Network Summer Ball makes for a memorable event. Great live music puts you in the mood for a bop on the dance floor, however the bar and casual seating areas that Coventry rugby Club provide give opportunity to sit back, relax and soak up the atmosphere whilst making new friendships. There are some terrific prizes for raffle or auction this year, all donated by generous local businesses.
Join us
Please come to the Ball, wear what you feel comfortable in. Come alone or with friends, turn the TV off and dine with us. Make new friends whilst making a difference. Raise funds and raise spirits. Most of all socialise for a great local charity.
