Annapurna Circuit Expedition

Annapurna Expedition

Come join the dream team

If visiting an amazing landscape, going on an adventure, forming new friendships and cementing old, or going on a journey of self discovery are on your ‘dare to dream’ list, this could be the opportunity for you. 2019/20 marks a monumental 25 years of Circles Network helping people make positive changes in their lives, and we are delighted to be joining forces with award winning explorer Mark Wood for the adventure of a lifetime. October 2023 will see ‘Team Circles’ join Mark Wood for a sponsored trek across the awesome Annapurna Circuit in Nepal. Funds raised from the trek will help Circles Network continue supporting disabled and disadvantaged people,  to realise their true potential and to ‘Dream, Dare and Do.’
If you think you might like to become a member of the Circles Network Trek Team, then we’d love to hear from you. We can be contacted at jonsandemmah@yahoo.com

Further information about the trek can be found at the bottom of this article.

Trekking not for you?

Read on to learn about the importance of chasing your dreams, whatever they may be.

Chase your dream, live your light.

Whether you dream of watching the sunrise over a mountain top or learning to bake the perfect cake, If just the thought of it makes you fizz, think how you would feel if you were to go ahead and achieve it.

Turn ‘I’d love to’ into ‘I’m going to’…

Too often we hear “one day…” “I would love to but…” or “I/you couldn’t”. So how do we actually turn the “I’d love to”s into “I’m going to”s?

Don’t devalue dreams…

What if instead of telling yourself that your dream is impossible, unimportant or trivial, you start to believe that ALL dreams are the most special gifts and each one an opportunity to discover new facets of your being.

Don’t wait for tomorrow…

There is no such thing as perfect timing when it comes to adventure, and realising your dreams is just that, an adventure. It takes courage to make the leap but is also exciting, sometimes surprising and always rewarding. Just remember every adventure ever started began with a single decision, and the words 'I’m going to!'

Challenge obstacles

Overcoming obstacles is a normal part of an adventure, it’s how we view those obstacles that affects how we react. Sometimes obstacles can’t be overcome and we have to work around them, and that re-route can take us on an amazing journey of discovery.

“ Start where you are, use what you have’’ do what you can.”
Arthur Ash

Learn to let go...

Something that can hold us back is the desire to hold on to our dreams, to keep them ‘safe’, to overthink or procrastinate. However,  if we let  those feelings go and take the leap, that one dream can become transformational, who knows what could be next!

“Accept yourself, love yourself, and keep moving forward. If you want to fly,
you have to give up what weighs you down.”
– Roy T Bennett, The light in the heart.

“Don’t stop believing
Don’t be afraid of change
Don’t underestimate yourself
Don’t make excuses
Don’t cheat yourself
Don’t ever stop”
- Germany kent
