Introduction
Becoming Trauma Informed
Supporting People with Understanding, Compassion and Respect. This workshop offers an introduction to becoming trauma informed. Exploring what trauma is, how it can influence the way individuals feel, behave and connect with others, and how we can respond in ways that feel safe, respectful and empowering. Our aim is to build understanding, compassion and confidence so that people can support others in ways that honour their experiences and strengths.
Lived Experience
Created & Delivered Together
This workshop was co‑designed and is co‑delivered with a parent who has previously been supported through one of our projects. Paula’s lived experience offers genuine insight into what trauma can feel like for families and what compassionate support looks like from their perspective. Her involvement ensures the training remains grounded, human and shaped by the voices of the people we walk alongside.
