Tracey’s story – Rugby.
At 79 years old, Tracey lives alone and is assisted by the supported living framework because she has bipolar, anxiety depression, schizophrenia and uses a wheelchair.
Isolated from her local community, Circles Network has helped to give her a new lease of life.
“I feel joined up.”
Previously she’d struggle to get out of her house and do daily activities. Community facilitators pick Tracey up every Friday so she can visit the Friday Café where the all the community members Circles Network work with come together over lunch.
She feels supported fetching her shopping, keeping up with her day-to-day medications, keeping clean and getting organised in her living environment.
With community support she can now go for a coffee, enjoy a walk or spend some time chatting whilst she knits sitting in the park, knowing she has some company and now, also feels safe to do so.
