AdvoCard An independent mental health advocacy service covering Edinburgh. AdvoCard works with individuals who have experience of mental ill health and who are living in the community. CAPS-The Consultation & Advocacy Promotion Service CAPS is an independent advocacy organisation for people who use, or have used mental health services. CAPS works with mental health service users as individuals or as members of a group. EARS Advocacy Service EARS Advocacy Service for Older People provides free, independent advocacy (on a one to one basis) to older people in, or moving into long term care. http://www.ears-advocacy.org.uk/ Edinburgh Carers Council The Edinburgh Carers Council aims to ensure that the views and needs of carers are included at all stages in the development of mental health services. SAMH The Scottish Association for Mental Health is Scotland’s leading mental health charity. SAMH works to support people who experience mental health problems, homelessness, addictions and other forms of social exclusion. SIAA The Scottish Independent Advocacy Alliance promotes, supports and defends the principles and practice of independent advocacy across Scotland.
