NetMums - the local website run on a voluntary basis by mums, provides loads of information and support for local parents.

Find out about local toddler groups, try out a couple of the child friendly restaurants recommended by other mums or post a notice on the Meet-a-Mum page. You’ll find information on nurseries, primary schools and places to go for parents with young children. Netmums covers all aspects of coping with being a mum in your area including dealing with post-natal illness, how to get professional support, self help groups and more.

Visit the website and pick up all the information you need and then join in. There is a notice board with lots of local news and views from local mums, a nearly new section and a “what’s on” section. We look forward to hearing from you…
