DJ JJ
I started when I was 5 years old, when I had a record player and started to take my Mum's records to play them and to 'back announce' them on a microphone. My Experience I have worked at Hospital Radio for five years as a Presenter and Assistant Producer. Also I had the dream of my life when I had a letter from Southern FM to do a day's work experience with some of the presenters. I then did a Radio and Media Technique course with BBC Southern Counties Radio in Brighton run by CSV. I also did a NCFE course in music technology. Mobile DJ I have now done a lot of performances as a Mobile DJ, for example working with youth centres, with people with learning disabilities. I also worked as a guest DJ at the Blue Camel Club in Brighton, which is run by people with learning disabilities and at a pub in Eastbourne. I have worked as a DJ at the Festival of Inclusion in Horsham with Circles Network. My aim is always to play a mixture of music to suit all ages. My Dream My dream is to train people to become good DJs. I hope to run a media project in the future and run a radio station for people with learning disabilities. If you would like to contact me, please call the Circles Network South East Regional Centre on 01444 250 552 or send an e-mail to angela.butcher@circlesnetwork.org.uk.
