Disability Equality Training

1 Day Course

 

This course has been designed to help employers understand the legal requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act and to show them how they can benefit from a diverse workforce. It will highlight the positive benefits that can be had by building a loyal customer base.

 

During the day we will:

• consider what is meant by disability equality.

• explain the use of non-discriminatory language.

• look at models of disability.

• look at the disabling barriers which exist in all areas of society, including work.

• take an overview of the discrimination act at work.
