About FOCUS

FOCUS is an individually designed person-centred service for people requiring community based support. This service is provided on a one-to-one or two-to-one basis from two hours per week  to twenty  four hours a day. Focus is designed to  support people in independent living situations or people who require an alternative to typical respite, day or residential care provision.

Our unique support arrangements are provided for:

• Disabled people including people with learning difficulties and mental health differences

• People with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour

• People with autism and people with profound and complex impairments

Contracts are made directly from individuals and their families or through social workers and other professionals. In order to access financial assistance, it is usual to work closely with a person's care manager or social worker

Once we have established the support arrangements required, we draw up a proposal for costing. Our charges are competitive, in line with other locally based organisations. The hourly charges differ depending on the level of support required.
